San Diego Gaslamp History and Architecture Walking Tour
About this experience
Downtown’s rowdiest chapter, told beneath its modern rooftop bars. A local storyteller leads a relaxed small-group loop through the old Stingaree red-light district — Wyatt Earp’s gambling halls and Oyster Bar, madam Ida Bailey’s Canary Cottage and the 1912 raid that shut it down — taking in Victorian landmarks such as the Louis Bank of Commerce, the 1882 Yuma Building and the Horton Grand Hotel, with a photo stop at the neon Gaslamp archway.
This tour is run by Fable Hospitality, a locally owned San Diego walking tour company.
